Hanseatic Capital invested in two new projects in 2008 and completed one add-on investment in February 2009. First investment was closed in Poland, where Hanseatic invested in MBO of Lynka, which is the leading promotional products company in Poland. In October 2008, Hanseatic invested in Boxer Timber Group, producer of log cabins in Estonia. The add-on investment was provided to Ortodontiakeskus, which is the market leader of orthodontics and dental services in Estonia.
Hanseatic has completed two successful exits during FY 2008. In February 2008 Hanseatic divested successfully from its investment in fuel station chain Olerex, Estonia. In December 2008 a Lithuanian-based manufacturer of high-precision syringe infusion pumps Aitecs Medical was divested to Moog Inc.
Prior to afore mentioned exits Hanseatic has divested successfully 8 investments in Estonia 1 in Latvia and 2 in Lithuania. By today, Hanseatic Capital has invested in a total of 21 companies in the Baltic States and Poland and has divested 13 investments.
